Tuya Yokoyama

Tuya  is the lab manager in the Petrov lab. Tuya received her B.S. from Stony Brook University, where she studied cell heterogeneity in isogenic yeast populations in different metabolic environments in http://life.bio.sunysb.edu/ee/restlab/Home.html Josh Rest's. She is interested in evolutionary medicine, which applies evolutionary perspective to medicine in order to find "why" we get sick, rather than "how".
