Caitlynn Tran

Caitlynn has been a research assistant for the Petrov Lab since July 2021. She is a second year undergraduate student at Stanford University studying Chemistry. Under the guidance of postdoctoral fellow Dr. Marianthi Karageorgi, she helps with Drosophila maintenance and data analysis to investigate seasonal insecticide resistance. More specifically, Caitlynn assists in tracking the phenotypic and genomic architecture of adaptation that  result from seasonal insecticide exposure in Drosophila populations.
