Yuping Li

Yuping is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Bondy-Denomy lab at UCSF. She did her undergraduate study in Bioinformatics at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China and spent two years working as a research assistant in Dr. Hong Zhang's lab. As the Graduate Student in the Sherlock and Petrov Lab Yuping worked on understanding the dynamics of adaptive evolution by using barcoded yeast populations. She published a number of key papers including the discovery of complexity of adaptation even in “simple” lab conditions and the first ever single nucleotide mapping of the Pareto front during short term adaptation.
